Graduation Day, A Night To Remember
Posted in: UncategorizedProm party: The Final Gathering and Party

It was a really successful night and I guess all of us had fun. =) A meaningful, fun, memorable and ‘high’ night(evening) for everyone. I never expect it to be a successful one as I thought everyone would just sit there, stick with their own groups but no, everyone was running around, talking and saying goodbye to friends and classmates, cool. =)
I went to ChungSun’s house at 3pm, weihon, SiongSiang, ChiaYee and Sheeling was already there. The girls do the make up while I put on my ‘old’(full of flowers?) outfits. We were sort of late as we reach at around 5.30pm.
I was kind of blur when I went into the hall which is quite dim, and my eyes are not good, LoL. I tried to look around and ‘pening’(headache), haha. I joined different groups, and took photos with different people. It’s fun, and everyone looks great! =)
P.S: SoonKet was fucking HOT! Haha, and others too.
My camera sucks, the flash is so weak that it spoil almost all the photos I took with friends. So sad man. I should had spent 60 bucks on an external flash(not branded one, so cheap la~), darn.
Mitsubishi i Car

Today GHK Motors released the all new Mitsubishi i-Car, which is expected to become the icon car of Mitsubishi. I wasn’t there during the launching this morning(food! Crowd! T_T), I was having my Graduation Day rehearsal in school, bad luck.
Anyhow, I did a sneak peak at the i-car before the launching tho and imo(in my opinion), it’s not(that) bad. It’s sleek, it’s cool, and I really like the head part. It sorts of vary in between looking weird and cool, and that’s unique. =)
Impact of ‘e-Slow’ on E-Gov Project
Posted in: UncategorizedBrunei acts on e-govt programme
BRUNEI Darussalam is reviewing priorities for action to develop an e-government programme. Minister of Communications, Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Kerna Dato Seri Setia Abu Bakar Apong said his ministry has deliberated issues of Brunei’s e-government programme known as E-Government Strategic Framework for Action 2001-2005. (…)
Hi-tech congress discusses options
A SPEAKER in a congress on e-government has raised a concern that the current e-government initiatives, which place people and technology in a different relationship than that in the past, may not provide enough attention on the citizens so efforts to integrate the two is a must. (…)
Net culture to drive e-government initiative
THE internet culture is so deeply ingrained into Canadian society that the citizens themselves constitute the main driving force behind their government’s decision to go online.
Keynote speaker Michael Turner said at the E-Government Brunei Congress yesterday that Canadians were driven by their familiarity with internet services, including consumer review forums and web applications such as online auction giant eBay, to request the shift to e-government. (…)
Well, one good thing about working is I get to read BruneiTimes and Borneo Bulletin for free, LoL. Not that I am so ‘cheap’, but yea, I don’t go out every morning and mom only subscribe Miri Daily News, so, haha. =)
I went to office early today, again, and I flip through a copy of Brunei Times on the table, and “wao!”, three pieces of news about E-Gov project and the first Brunei E-Gov congress.
“…the minister said the government and a team of consultants from the Brunei Shell Petroleum examined issues which drove the current e-government programme and identified actions forward to improve the program implementation for 2006-2010. One key action determined in the review report was the recommended appointment of an e-government leader.”
I hope he’s not another old man(consider he never really access the web himself?) who don’t really know what’s the need/want of the citizens.
What’s our need? The answer is obvious…. A REAL ‘ESPEED‘(Yes, we want S-P-E-E-D)! And better Brunet!
IngSiang, the office boy.
Posted in: UncategorizedSo yea, I started working today, first time ever, hehe. =)
When I reached there, I registered myself with the clerk, and was given a punch card(!!), hehe! It’s quite funny to punch card, haha. I have to punch once at 8am(in), and once at 12pm(out), and after break, which is at 1.30pm(in), punch again, and punch out at 5pm, haha. =D
P.S: I think it’s cool when I saw the staffs(mechanics mostly) there queue at 5pm, punching their card and some use fingerprints, LoL. Continue Reading…
