Don’t Bin it…Cash it!

Last Sunday, a scrap metal buyer came to my house - a recycling lorry. The lorry went all over the simpangs (roads, junctions), and waiting for people to come out and ask them over.

My maid noticed it, and told mum. So we asked them (two guys) over, and they loaded our cans onto their balance, 6kg (just a bag of ‘em), B$1.80 for each kg, so that’s a total of B$11. Well, not much money but since you can turn cash out of rubbish, why not?

IMO, you guys’ (during CNY or Hari Raya) should be having more cans that my family, because few people visited us during CNY (thus fewer soft drinks were consumed, and fewer cans were generated), so, your’s might weight a lot, probably a couple ten bucks to go along, yuhoo! =) Continue Reading…

Awaken From Hibernation

Had been asking CheaXin about the correct words and vocabulary of the title of this post, LoL. Anyone know the word which is referring to ‘de-hibernation’? Or there is no such word? It’s time for me to improve my vocabulary, because I am really bad in it. =( So, please people, if you(you definitely will) notice any dumb mistakes in my posts, please kindly point it out for me. =)

The title refers to the fact that school(MD) is going to start soon, next week that’s it. =) By the way, for those who don’t know yet, I got into MD! Yay, congrats me! =) Honest speaking, I wasn’t THAT happy when I got into MD, I am happy, but it’s expected(after mum explained and analysed everything to me), so no overwhelming happiness in me when I heard about my admission into MD. =) Continue Reading…

Happy Chinese New Year!

I have no idea how should I start writing this post. There’s lots of happenings, but they’re not things that would interest much of you, and most of us (Chinese) had fairly the same happenings around: dinner on CNY eve, go temple when the clock strikes 12.00am, visiting relatives on first day of CNY, gambling, drinking, eating, boring….

(Un)Happy Valentine’s Day!

So today is the sweet day huh? =)

I think this year’s Valentine’s Day isn’t that ‘hot’ as usual lo? I think it’s due to the overwhelming CNY mood. Ah well, maybe I am the only one who felt this way, HAHAHAHA!! XD!!

P.S: I’ll imagine celebrating my day with YiFei, wahahahaha! XD
