Vagabond’s Caravan

I went to Miri last Saturday, to ‘visit’ my grandfather. Yes, you know what I mean by ‘visit’. =)

I never see my grandfather, I think, he sort of left us years before I was born. =(

Anyhow, every year, I went to ‘visit’ him with my family, aunties and uncles, cousins, niece and nephews and etc. =) It’s an hot but fun gathering. =)

We always get up early, load our cars with the ‘money’ (ritual money which is said to be the currency used in ‘their’ world. Would then be burn so that my grandfather can ‘receive’ it). Must go early or else very hot! XD We were pretty late this year, so we brought 10++ colourful umbrellas, LoL, so almost every 2 persons hold an umbrella, xD.

I feel like describing it, so others (Malays and etc who read my blog) can get to know about Chinese’s tradition, but well, I don’t have time(need to revise, and brother wants to use the laptop) and later mom scolds me for talking ‘pantang’ stuffs like this, so yea. =(

I took a lot of photos (all the photos taken last year is gone, so yea), and I am putting up only mine, because it’s quite ‘pantang’ (not for me, but for my family members). =)

That’s me, was doing wishes to my ‘grandfather’, asking him to bless me. =) I was the one who wished the most, like 20 seconds something, haha. And then I ‘yum-seng’ with grandfather (pour some of the drink on the soil). =)

P.S: I hope my sister won’t kill me for putting up this photo, hehe. XD
And that’s what my cousin did to me! I was ‘drilling’ the incenses onto the soil, and my hands isn’t long enough, and…… -.-”!! Oh yea, my cousin who did this is the father to two kids, even more -.-”!!
