Never Leave Your Camera At Home…

… you would never know when would you need it!

That’s the lesson learned these days, as I missed two opportunities in a row: first I missed the quite, calm evening of Maktab Duli after prefect meeting on Saturday, then I went The Mall on Sunday just to know that I made the worst mistake - standing in the crowd of thousands of people, and a couple dozen of photographers, and some celebrities who I don’t really care but wouldn’t mind shooting! It’s very depressing you know? Standing there and think how you would had compose your shots, set the exposure and etc, haha.

But hey, today I brought my camera with me all the time, and guessed what? (initially, I bring it to test out Kelvin’s new lens) I were shooting at the back stage (and there’s a shot which I like quite a lot) and talked about dSLR with ChungSun, and in the afternoon, I went to high tea with mom and saw this guy! Yes, 小马, the funny guy who are special guest in comedy programs like 忍者电力公司 and I think he’s here in Brunei to film for his show, 世界第一等 (from what I heard). Me and mom were so surprise as we thought he looks very familiar (before we saw his crews), and were trying so hard to recall which friend/co-worker of mom is him, LoL. =D

We greet him (I think they already finished recording, and would leave soon) and took photo with him. =) Wow, I still think it’s cool and such a coincidence!

Me & XiaoMa
Mom & XiaoMa
The Crews

^ One of the video camera team, part of the crews who were there at Lee Loi Fat with Xiao Ma when we went there for high tea.
Ah Pao (& Jerry)

^ They were there too, =D Yeap, Ah Pao and Jerry who just came back from Australia. Just greet them only tho. A lot of coincidence, huh?

Behind the Scene

^ Behind the scene! These are the MCs (Prefects of Public Relation), including JingYi and ChungSun. =)

Graffiti

^ One of the most interesting (err, no?) scene in the back stage of Mxxxxx Dxxx xxxxxxxxxx. =) It’s graffiti or doodling on the back of the back drop of the stage (it’s a wall mounted on some movable stands, it’s filled with these doodling, graffiti and etc).

P.S: I still wonder how they did those on the top, did it before it’s mounted? or climb up? xD

Graffiti Love

^ This turn out rather cool after some burning and adjustment in Photoshop, =) What do you think? I like it tho. =)

That’s all for today, I’ll write more soon, I hope, hehe. =)

you’re not supposed to show it out. but it would be obvious who did those. lol. once the school knows. but well… it’s like a tradition and yes it’s climbing up.

I thought about that, but doubt that the teachers knows nothing about this, hmm.. maybe I should remove the descriptions, xD

OMG! You bumped into Xiao-Ma? In LLF somemore?!
That’s so unexpected laaaaa.

I never leave my camera at home when I go out but also, I never have any special encounters that’s worth snapping.

SIen.

Lucky you!

Oh, 小马! Lucky you. :D

The grafitti looks very nice (If you put aside the whole ‘Do not damage school properties’ moral).

I like the last one. Black and Red - good combination.

I liked the graffiti at NY much better.

jason Posted on 17 January, 2008 at 8:04 pm

NY graffiti is artistic, n somewhat symbolistic. this is just a pile of signatures and names. big difference. lol

poli275 Posted on 17 January, 2008 at 9:30 pm

saw that grafitti last year, how come the school din’t bother to clean that huh?

poli275 Posted on 17 January, 2008 at 9:32 pm

and forgot to ask how’s the lens?

IngSiang (Vagabond) Posted on 18 January, 2008 at 1:46 pm

Nonnie: Haha, yeap, lucky me. =p I can’t bring dSLR around all the time la, hahaha, but now I am taking them out quite frequently, =) Even when I am shooting nothing for the whole day, hahaha.

LiPiang: Haha, thanks. =)

w3ihon: Whatever~ xD

jason: LoL, to be more precise, they’re not even considered as graffiti. =D

Poli275: Because it’s the back of the stage, not front! Haha, and why bother to clean when it’s going to happen again? haha. And which lens? Oh, Kelvin didn’t bring la. xD So far I haven’t see any of his gear, his mom wouldn’t allow, =(

poli275 Posted on 18 January, 2008 at 2:43 pm
