First Visit to CHMS’ New Building & Charity Night 2008

Tada!~ Here you go! 35 41 shots from last Saturday night - CHMS’ 爱校之夜, as well as our first visit to the new building!
Here’s what I wrote in my Flickr, lazy to re-type, so just copy and paste la, hehe.
First visit to CHMS’ new building, very beautiful! Love and hate it - love it because it’s very nice; hate it because we already graduate! Darn! Hehe.
The charity night itself is very boring (sigh, their targeted audience is those directors and etc, not us youngsters mah) but it’s definitely a great night, hehe.
Here’s some photos taken by me, ZhiShiong, Kelvin and ChungSun. Post-processed by me, and for your information, most of these photos are severely underexposed, and I tried my best to bring out the colours and exposure, while retaining the quality, some of them are very grainy due to that, sorry, tried my very best. =)

Photos from ChungSun are unprocessed yet, I’ll do it later, and post an update here when I upload them, just a couple shots tho. =) And I think I’ll do a printing session on these, so yea, do let me know if you’re interested. =D Just leave a comment or email me.
Spent quite some time enhancing and repairing these, I think my photoshop (in terms of photo-editing) improved! Still very n00b but I am very happy with my progress, hehehehe. =D

^ Thanks to the tripod, I am in the group photo too! MUAHAHAHA! Used tripod and set self-timer. Took this at the rooftop, the colour so nice ahh, pink, LoL. And the forest at the back , waa, syok!
^ Taken at the rooftop there, really nice la, I mean the sunset there, man, I wish I am still chms student! Then I can stay back till 8pm, hehehehe. (it won’t be locked!!!)
^ If I remember correctly, this is the pathway to the second floor of the library, see, the sunset is great! xD

Of course. Sigh~ this photo make me miss CHMS again… A lot of photos taken that day right? Oh god, can’t to see all them ^^(anyway, not comment to ying chou you la ^^) Hehe. And btw, good luck for physics tomorrow. =)

Derick: Forgot to remind you not to say it out loud, HAHA! xD Actually not many photos taken la, not as much as a single HTYX event, HAHA! Only around 200 photos taken, and I picked a quarter of them to keep/upload. =) Quite satisfy with the outcome tho, all of my gears (d40, tripod, bag) serves me well, hehe. =D

Icic. I like all those photo but just I hate seeing myself in the photo, something wrong with my hair that day. Haha. After I get my laptop repaired, I will take all these photo from you. ^^
And physics was so not alright for me T.T Silly mistakes and etc.. Sigh~
Everyone has great expressions, which is totally amazing and refreshing~ Their smiles are intentional, and yet it is still a picture perfect shot.
I love your photos! Will be expecting more. (As usual~)
P.S. Trying to spot any ghost sightings somewhere… I failed.
Derick: LoL, got kan? I thought my hair is the worst (looking at the big group photo on rooftop), xD Your laptop not ok, yet? xD Well, most of the usable photos are up there, except a few, so if you wanna grab for online use, just copy lo. =D
My physics got a number of lame mistakes too, I guess.
LiPiang: Yeap, so international, =D!! Too bad my flash is weak, so some people looks like Darlie (toothpaste), LoL. Because I play with the contrast quite a bit, blehz.

Hey Ingsiand nice photos, I absolutely love the photo collage / montage / whatever you call it :) heh! And for some reason I like the composition of one photo - the one featuring 2 girls against the setting sun and a pink wall, it’s amazing. Your photo editing skills - they’re already PERFECT, there’s no way of getting even better, heh! :D

The photo you mentioned were not taken by me, hehe, I rather spend my time enjoying the view of the sunset, and let my friend handle the camera, and the 2 girls decided to come out with that pose suddenly, and my fren just shoot it before they decide to stop posing, =) It’s a great shot tho, =D D40 makes everyone a good photographer, hehe. =D

Lol besides tweaking the saturation and the contrast, I don’t do any photoshop edits already, not because of not willing to, but I’m a complete PS idiot :) seriously, heh!
