Thanks Ah Goh! =)

Just got another 50mm f/1.8 standard Nikkor prime lens from my friend, Goh Jien Sheng (actually it’s from his uncle) today, and this time it’s an E-series (instead of the newer AF-D version from ChiHo).
He also gave us (me and ChiHo) a Cosina telephoto zoom and a Nikon EM series film camera. Both lenses are very old and unused, so yea, as expected, there are fungus in the glass.
ChiHo told me the zoom lens is unusable, but the 50mm I had is still fairly usable, and I had been toying with it for awhile this evening (before rushing to a family party), and I snap a few shots with it.
I heard that E series 50mm is very sharp, hmmm..
This is my favourite shot from those I took this evening when I play around with this (not so) new toy, =)
This photo is taken with two 50mm f/1.8, one mounted on my Nikon D40 (hold by my right hand) while another one (the E series one) was hold by my left hand, as shown in the photo, hehehe.
The flower inside the 50mm in the photo is real, it’s not photoshop-ed! =) I am starting to love to play around by holding 2 lens and macro-ing, it’s fun! =) But difficult when you’re doing it alone, tho. xD
Note: 50mm is standard lens, which is the easiest to make, and is usually the first lens a company made, it’s extremely popular for it’s low cost, big aperture, legendary sharpness and versatility. =)
P.S: If one day I become a vintage camera collector, blame Ah Goh for ‘poisoning’ me, hehehehe. Thanks dude! =D

Dats a really cool shot Xp
This looks great!
Thanks people. =D
Amazing shot :) the most interesting thing ones I’ve ever seen are those featuring photo in a photo (eg a photo showing people taking photos through handphone cameras and etc), but your make them pale in comparison :D never thought of dismantling and lense and shoot through it. Cool! Anyway aren’t you worried of getting dust into the lense?
Thanks teddY. =) Well, don’t really worry about that because the lens is old and already have fungus, lol. =p Sand don’t go into lens that easily, they go into camera body easier (when changing lens). =p
