puppy_fish_eye, originally uploaded by IngSiang (Vagabond).
She loves to stick her head out of the cage like this, =p
Shoot at 18mm, the barrel distortion (ie. distortion occurs at wide angle) is enhanced (err, not really…) in Photoshop so that it looks more one which is taken by a fish-eye lens. =p
Too much editing tho, seems like the vignetting (darkening of the edges), barrel distortion and heavy contrast I applied in Photoshop is hurting the overall composition. =(
And I think mom named her Comel, doink! xD

I am first! :) Hehe. Really comel wah.
Comel is really… comel =) heh. The vignetting didn’t hurt the composition, not at all. Just a question though - did you rotate the original photo? Because the vignetting doesn’t look very natural - details are lacking on the bottom-left and top-right corners.
Anyway I applaud your choice to do animal photography - many pets are pretty hard to photography because they either get spooked by the huge lenses or get too curious (so much so that they keep moving towards you)… heh.
teddY: Nope, the photo is tilted when I compose it, lol (and funny thing is that this kind of tilt is known of dutch tilt, if I am not wrong). The vignetting is not natural, yes, because those parts are the floor and roof, so yea, they’re pretty dark initially, I just use a black brush to darken them, looks weird tho, hahaha.
Haha, I never encounter the former one, but yea, they love to charge at me, blehz, now I need a telephoto zoom to take their photos because they can run very fast already, lol! xD
comel indeed
