23.03.08 - Giant Is The New Hype in Brunei
Posted in: 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, B&W Photography, Brunei Darussalam, Cameras, Candid Photography, Street PhotographySaw this TV crew doing some shooting when I accompany mom to Jerudong fish market, and yea, I had my D40 with me, weeeee! =D Don’t ask me why the hell are they there for, I have no idea, probably a scene in the market? LoL, doesn’t seems like documentary to me, tho. =S
^ I am not sure if they’re recording or not, they were talking in a rather weird tone tho (well, more seriously one? Not casual, lol). If yes, then I guess I spoiled that scene(NG!), lol!
No one approach me after that tho, so I guess they were discussing something, *shrug* (I did a guy yell “rolling~” a couple times tho, lol)
^ I guess that guy (in red, with cap) is the director, and wooo, typical director style I guess? Hehe. =D
^ The camera man, perhaps the person (or just the equipment, haha) I am most interested in, and hey, he’s wearing Printerku’s shirt! (Printerku is a new, premium printing company in Brunei, seems promising. It’s the Canon booth you saw in The Mall)
And yea, I know I am not consistent (obviously~) in the editing of this three shots, haha, since they’re quite spontaneous and I was shooting randomly actually (shutter priority, kick up the ISO so I don’t get blur photo, and I just shoot, I didn’t really spend much time on the composition, journalism I guess?). So, just trying to apply the effects as I see appropriate, =) Hope you guys will like! =D
And oh, about the title, well, it’s so jam! Seems like the 600 parking lot can’t feed the hype generated and Bruneian’s cradle for cheap stuffs, hehehehe. I wanted to go, but the jam was terrible, blehz.
P.S: Still remember the time I met XiaoMa and his TV crew in LeeLoiFatt? Yea, today I went LeeLoiFatt too (before I went to Jerudong fish market). Hmmm… tough luck yea? =p

I rarely encounter filming crew in Brunei, especially in the public place. Lucky you =)
Well, it is something new. definitely there’ll be lots of jams. try going when it’s raining, i heard there’ll be less cars. your house is near anyway.
Derick: Haha, yea, and this is not the first time I saw them at market, lol, last time I saw a China TV crew in the pasar malam (in previous post) and mom were interviewed by another TV crew in the bandar tamu/pasar once, too. =p
Jason: Yea, but still, let’s just wait till 2 weeks later, =p It’s going to be a hype tho, heard that it’s kind of lausy, blehz. But yea, why not, now we have someone who could stand against huaho or something, I hope, =p
The stuffs selling at Giant are not really cheap, only some cheaper nia:(
