An Unexpected Visitor (again) - A Bird and it’s Nest

Here’s a bird nest my brother found in our garden.

I think it’s cool because it’s very rare to see (at least for me, it is) a bird nest being built on a small plant, (it’s about 50cm from the ground), hehe.

It’s beautiful, I like the way it’s built. And funny thing is that we didn’t notice it until it’s completed (the plant is just beside the entrance of my house), impressive. =D

I wonder who lives in there (bro claim that he saw the bird in there at night, but I don’t think it’s bright enough for him to recognize the species). Perhaps I should try to shoot it at night, lol, using flash night vision camera, blehz.

Little (macro) Shooter

Little Shooter, originally uploaded by IngSiang (Vagabond).

Yesterday afternoon, I was shooting randomly around my house’s compound again. These two kids of my neighbour were watching me from their balcony.

Awhile later, they ran to me, and showed me their camera, a miniature SLR-like toy (I think it’s some flash keychain)!

And they start shooting like I did, going close to flowers and shoot (of course, it’s done mentally, kids’ imagination are great). It’s really interesting how kids learn and follow everything adults did.

I took them for a walk around our neighbourhood, and they keep on asking me to shoot and let them see whenever there’s a flower, hehe.

P.S: Sorry if I had been posting too many ‘filler’ posts these days, hehe. Continue Reading…

A stray dog who wander around my neighborhood, and decided to settle down in the house next to mine.

It’s quite funny how it get along with my neighbor’s dogs, and even shared their food! Continue Reading…

THORN(s) : Sharp photo of a Sharp Subject

THORN (cropped), originally uploaded by IngSiang, The Vagabond.

Tour around my neighbor yesterday (under the hot sun) and took a few shots. This is my keeper of the day, hope you guys will love it. =)

The background is quite distracting tho, which is really pity. I might shoot it again (since it’s within walking distance), hope my neighbor takes good care of it.

Man, I really like the details in this photo, and this photo is cropped, for original, click here. Seems good enough for a 12×8 print, hehe. And once again, my lovely Nikon D40 amazed me, and don’t forget the lovely kit lens too!

A sharp photo of a sharp subject, huh? *syok sendiri~*
