Slumber Party @ KuiChuan’s House and Sunday Splash

Last Saturday, we (Kelvin, FooGN, YiChing, Robinson) sleepover at KuiChuan place. It’s quite a fun experience, and it’s my first time (err, I mean sleepover at friend’s place!). We had a lot of fun playing Monopoly (my sister’s, it’s Spongebob version!), talking (for like 3 hours? Talk about everything, mostly intensive talks) and watch horror movie - One Missed Call 3 (we all felt asleep half way, except Robinson, LoL).

Man, it’s the best Monoopoly I had ever play! It’s so funny when me and FooGN ruled the game, and were bullying KelvinTang, hehe. We build hotels when he’s close to our properties (Me and FooGN formed a partnership) and I finish playing the game with 1 dollar only, HAHA (long story). It was freaking funny, especially Kelvin’s face when he was about to roll his second dice, and the probability of him landing on me and Foo’s hotels is 1/2 (but hell, he’s freaking lucky).

After the game, we had a long chat, topics hop from gambling to friendship to love and etc. It was a nice and intensive chat, and we can’t help but keep on scolding YiChing who constantly went out of topic (still, better than JieMing)! We all really beh-tahan that boy ah, haha, even FooGN was so kek-dao, hehe. WeiDeng left after the chat (his parents don’t allow him to sleepover at friend’s place), around 12.30pm. And for all this while (since I reach KuiChuan’s house, until we finish the talk), Robinson had been RO-ing (playing an online game) non-stop, crazy guy, LoL. Continue Reading…

I Believe I can Fly (LoL)

A test shot on some birds bought by bro, 100% crop of the eye showed. =)

Life is still quite busy with homeworks (trying to catch up, blehz), outings (with friends), meetings (seems like there’s going to be something more for HAC) and etc. Stay tune people, hehe. By the way, do comment yea? At least let me know you were here, hehe.

Oh yea, the photo is to show the details/sharpness of D40 and the kit lens, pretty good, love it. =) Best viewed in full size (no worries, just 800 px wide, hehe).

Lastly, I would like to wish my dw a very, very happy birthday, hehe. =) *hugs*

Officially a Nikon D40 owner, my first d-SLR ever!

After months of consideration (here and here) and research, I finally decided to go with Nikon D40 (instead of Canon EOS 400D, or the higher-end Nikon D80) due to:

  1. price (man, it’s a real bang for the buck, B$800 for the body and the awesome kit lens)
  2. ergonomic design (as mentioned before, I really like it’s ergonomic design, at least it feels really good in my hand)
  3. great Nikkor lenses (I don’t really give a damn about Canon’s L @ Pro lenses, they’re way over my budget. Canon doesn’t have many/any good, cheap consumer lenses, which Nikon has. 55-200mm VR is my next buy.)
  4. It’s a Nikon (I felt in love with it, not sure why but bet that it has something to do with “I am impressed by all the Nikons I came across”.)
  5. Simple (it’s so easy to use that I can just put it into auto mode and hand it over to someone else. And if, one day I plan to upgrade, I can always give it to my family members, it serves well as a very good point-and-shoot.)
